Preschool


We teach:

  • Understanding of sets and whole numbers.
  • Measuring and comparing the length, weight, mass, temperature of objects, and the passage of time.
  • Identifying the characteristics of two-dimensional shapes and three-dimensional objects.
  • Recognizing and using patterns.
  • Collecting, displaying, and interpreting data in daily activities.
  • Solving problems.

Elementary School (Grades 1 - 8)


We teach:

  • Number sense and numeration.
  • Measurements
  • Geometry and spatial sense
  • Patterning and algebra.
  • Date Management and probability.
  • Problem-solving strategies.
  • Reasoning and Explaining with Mathematical Language.
  • Complex Problem-Solving Models for Grade 7 & 8.

Secondary School (Grades 9 - 12)

We teach:

  • Understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Performing algorithms.
  • Thinking, inquiring and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication through writings and diagrams.
  • Applying concepts and procedures relating to familiar and unfamiliar settings.

University Preparation (OAC)

 

We teach:

  • Calculus
  • Finite
  • Algebra & Geometry

University and College

We teach:

  • Math courses related to Arts & Science, Computer Science, and Engineering.

 

* Starting in January 2002, the Centre will offer three new mathematics courses implemented under the new high school curriculum: Introduction to Calculus, Discreet Mathematics, and Data Management.
